For the first time this year, quarterback Tony Romo was not sacked and did not throw an interception. That happened three times last year, against Seattle, Buffalo and Philadelphia, although he was hurt early against Philadelphia.
Romo finished with a 98.5 quarterback rating, his second-highest of the year.
“I think there were just a couple plays that I got the ball off quickly just to help, but other than those, they did a phenomenal job of just allowing me to go through the progressions and get the ball to different guys,” Romo said of the offensive line.
Romo threw to seven receivers, including running backs Felix Jones, Phillip Tanner and Lawrence Vickers, and scrambled three times for 11 yards.
