Two Los Angeles newspapers are reporting that sophomore Emmanuel Moody, who was a Parade All-American at Coppell High School in 2005, will transfer from USC.
The Los Angeles Times said that Moody missed practice and a team meeting Wednesday. Last week Moody said he felt “forgotten” on a roster that has 10 -- that’s right, 10 -- tailbacks.
The Los Angeles Daily News on its InsideUSC blog reported that Moody might transfer to Oklahoma State.
Last season as a freshman, Moody was USC’s second-leading rusher with 459 yards on 79 carries. He missed the last four games of 2006 with an ankle injury. Moody was one of three Trojans running backs featured on the regionalized cover of Sports Illustrated’s college football preview issue.
