Missouri coach Gary Pinkel said Monday that TE Chase Coffman, a key component in the Tigers' offense, is questionable for Saturday's Big 12 championship game against Oklahoma. Coffman aggravated an existing ankle injury in the Tigers' 36-28 victory over Kansas and spent most of the second half with his foot in a protective boot.
Pinkel said Coffman would continue to wear the boot until Wednesday, when team trainers hope he will return to practice. Ideally, Pinkel wants Coffman to take part in workouts Wednesday and Thursday. But if Coffman cannot go at that point, it's unclear whether he will play in San Antonio against Oklahoma.
