Baylor will have a news conference in about an hour to announce Guy Morriss will not return as the team's football coach.
It was reported last week that Morriss would be gone after this season. The Bears started the year 3-1, but dropped their final eight games. It is the fourth time they have gone winless in Big 12 conference play.
The Bears have had 12 consecutive losing seasons and are the only Big 12 team to have never made a bowl appearance.
