Missouri coach Gary Pinkel is channelling LSU coach Les Miles, that noted in-game gambler.
After a fake field goal failed, Missouri put together a solid drive on its next possesion. On second and 3 from the Kansas 21, the Tigers ran a double reverse and squeezed out a four-yard gain.
On the same drive, Pinkel went for it on fourth and goal from inside the one. Quarterback Chase Daniel, who hasn't taken a direct snap from center since Pop Warner, lined up in the shotgun and fired a quick slant to tight end Martin Rucker who double-clutched the catch to give Mizzou a 7-0 lead.
