Texas offensive tackle Tony Hills fractured the fibula in his left leg in Saturday's 59-43 victory over Texas Tech and is out for the season, team trainers announced Sunday. Hills, an All-Big 12 candidate, was the second senior offensive linemen lost to a season-ending injury in the past two weeks. Center Dallas Griffin tore the ACL in his knee n Nov. 3 against Oklahoma State. With Hills out of the lineup, the Longhorns have no more senior offensive linemen on the depth chart heading into the team's reguar-season finale, Nov. 23 at Texas A&M. The projected starters against the Aggies will include three sophomores, a freshman and a junior. In a statement issued Sunday, Hills said: "I'm disappointed that this is how my college career is going to end, but I¹m going to do everything I can to help this team for the rest of the season. I think I can still have an impact in the locker room as a leader and I'll be helping coach (Mac) McWhorter get the offensive line ready to play." Hills has been a starter in Texas' last 24 games and has played in 42 games in his college career. -- Jimmy Burch
