Sporting News' Tom Dienhart, in roundup of coaching rumors and changes, reports that a source close to the UCLA coaching search says that interim head coach/defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker interviewed for the Bruins' post Tuesday night. Dienhart writes that Texas Tech coach Mike Leach is still expected to be involved in the search. The Los Angeles Daily News had reported Dec. 4 that sources had said Leach was not expected to be on UCLA's short list of coaching candidates. There has been no indication from Lubbock that UCLA has asked to talk to Leach.
