Sitting next to me in the pressbox here at the Cotton Bowl is staff writer Lori Dann, a proud Auburn alum. She's been filling me in on the glorious details of SEC traditions - including a little trivia about the Arkansas mascot.
Apparently, the Razorbacks have a very large, real-life hog that they keep in a cage and cart around at home games. After the games, fans go down to see the hog.
Sadly, the live hog isn't at the game today. Only the furry hog mascots are here.

UPDATE: I spoke too soon. The hog, named Tusk, is here. He's in his trailer outside the stadium. Next time you see a red trailer with the words "Woo Pig, Sooieeee!" painted on the side rolling down the highway, chances are you're passing Tusk.
