Texas A&M women's basketball coach Gary Blair decided to take advantage of both the Texas Tech men and women playing on Saturday.
A graduate of Texas Tech, Blair went to the men's game in the afternoon and watched the Red Raiders beat Oklahoma State, 67-60. It's the first time he's watched a Texas Tech men's basketball game in Lubbock since he was a student there in 1971.
"It was nice to see the new arena," Blair said. "There were only 8,000 for the game, but I enjoyed the atmosphere. Then I sprinted back to the hotel and rooted the (Texas A&M) men on."
That night, he coached the Lady Aggies to a 63-46 victory over Texas Tech, the third straight victory for Texas A&M to get them to .500 in the conference.
