TCU right fielder Matt McGuirk is doubtful for the three upcoming games in Minneapolis. McGuirk has a slightly torn quadriceps tendon suffered while sliding before the season. He has not started yet this season. The former Arlington Heights star seems doomed by injuries that have derailed his career after becoming a freshman All-America three years ago.
McGuirk wanted a fresh start this year after hitting .205 last season. TCU (2-2) plays Minnesota Friday, Pepperdine on Saturday and Tulane on Sunday at the Metrodome.
