Texas A&M is definitely on the NCAA bubble after a 72-55 loss to Kansas in College Station on Saturday.
Will the Big 12 get six teams into the NCAA Tournament, or will A&M not make the dance if it doesn't win at least two in the Big 12 tournament?
Kansas (13-3) and Texas (12-3) are the top two seeds in the Big 12 tournament. Texas can clinch the No. 1 seed with a victory at home Sunday against Oklahoma State.
Kansas State (10-6), a 73-69 winner over Iowa State (4-12), is the No. 3 seed. Oklahoma (9-7) is No. 4 and Baylor (9-7), swept this season by OU, is No. 5. The top four seeds get first-round byes.
A&M is 8-8 in conference and OSU 7-8 going into Sunday's game at Texas.
Baylor, as the No. 5 seed, will play the No. 12 seed at 2 p.m. Thursday in Game 2 of the Big 12 tournament at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.
