How do you build the confidence of a true freshman? Just do what the Islanders have done with true freshman starter Trey Hernandez.
His five starts this year - Two against Rice, Texas, Texas Tech and today against the Frogs. Trey is 0-3 with a 12.83 ERA. Opponents are hitting .365 off him. A bright spot: Today is Trey's longest outing of the year. Hope for the best here. -Trae
