Former Arlington Bowie quarterback Sherrod Harris scored a touchdown on the QB zone read as the Orange defeated the White 14-10 in the Texas Longhorns' spring scrimmage Saturday.
Southlake Carroll ex Tre Newton, who enrolled at UT in January as an early freshman arrival, picked up good yardage on his two carries in the game on the late Orange touchdown drive with Harris at quarterback.
Harris played without a knee brace, noted Ahmad Brooks, doing commentary for FSN Southwest, which televised the scrimmage live and will, no doubt, replay the program.
