Rough weekend for the Frogs (3-4). They lost two out of three in the Dairy Queen Classic in Minneapolis. Now, TCU has to keep from letting its schedule take its toll.
TCU plays UTA on Tuesday, Texas State on Wednesday and hosts No. 2-ranked Ole Miss this weekend and has a road trip to No. 25 Wichita State the following weekend.
Here's a look back at the top three Frogs from the weekend...
1. Andrew Cashner, closer-- Junior transfer blew Minnesota away with four innings of hitless relief with nine strikeouts in the 12-inning victory.
2. Ben Carruthers, 2B (pictured left) -- Knew he was a glove whiz, but now added deadly bat to arsenal. Went 6-for-13 with 2 RBI.
3. Tyler Lockwood, reliever -- Super job in six innings of relief, allowing one run and had four strikeouts, but help behind him faltered in loss Tulane.
