I confess I don't know much about Texas A&M-CC. Some factoids I've come across...
*The team mascot is the Islanders. Not to be confused with them.
* TAMU-CC plays in the Southland Conference.
* According to this release, approximately zero people watched the Islanders' home opener with Lamar.
* Give credit to TAMU-CC. Its non-conference opponents include Rice, Texas, Arizona, Notre Dame and Texas Tech.
* The Islanders' leading pitcher is Brett Gibson, who is 2-1 with a 5.11 ERA. -Trae
