Wow. Gutsy call by the ump there.
Matt Carpenter just hit a grounder to second base. Air Force's Nathan Carter was on his toes, quickly tagged Steve Ellington, then threw to first to get Carpenter out. The ump gave the out signal on the tag, giving the Falcons the double play. But it was so quick it was almost hard to see.
Tough one. TCU coach Jim Schlossnagle came out to argue the call. -Trae
