The TCU Horned Frogs (23-12) will carry a nine-game winning streak into tomorrow night's home game against Oklahoma.
During its streak, the Frogs have continually found ways to pull out victories even when things haven't looked too positive.
"Special teams find ways to win games,'' TCU coach Jim Schlossnagle said. "The year I went to the College World Series at Tulane, we won 16-17 games in our last at-bat. That was a good team, that wasn't the best team we had there. But it was a special team. I think that as long as these guys could continue to believe in each other - I don't know if we're an Omaha team - but it's a special club that's certainly found ways to win games."
Reliever Trent Appleby said it's a matter of "everybody doing something."
"Somebody's not having a good day, we got somebody else to come in and help us out," he said.
