Well, today's TCU-OU game takes me back down memory lane a little.
Long before he became a college baseball coach, Oklahoma head coach Sunny Golloway was a P.E. teacher back at Whittier Middle School in Norman. One of his students? A quiet, friendly insecure kid who couldn't play sports worth a lick, but later got an idea to write about them for a living (including on this blog). So today is the first time for me to see my old teacher in a long, long, long time.
Favorite memory?
We did have some mean dodgeball games back in the day (before the game was outlawed in some schools). But he was also the same man who introduced me to suicides. -Trae Thompson
