TCU oft-injured outfielder Matt McGuirk is getting closer to returning to the lineup. McGurik is recovering from surgery to repair a torn quadriceps tendon suffered before the season started. The Arlington Heights product is hitting off a tee and doing some running. He could return in the next couple of weeks. The Frogs sorely need his big run-producing bat in the lineup.
