Texas Longhorns pitcher Kenn Kasparek threw the 20th no-no in school history blanking Texas State in an 11-0 victory on Tuesday. Kasparek has now fully found his way after Tommy John surgery forced him out last season. He had no walks and nine strikeouts. Kasparek hit one batter.
Maybe this gives the underachieving Longhorns a kick down the stretch. It probably does say that Kasparek needs to be moved to the weekend rotation next week against Texas A&M.
Has apparently made the trip to UTA and has been sitting on the front row behind plate with annoying cheers. They have to be wearing the diehard UTA fans out with their shouting and chants of Sic' em. It wouldn't be so bad but it's so quiet at Clay Gould Ballpark you could hear nacho chips being crunched from across the stadium. I swear I saw one of those guys wearning a green kilt.
