TCU coach Jim Schlossnagle had plenty to say following Sunday's 3-2 win. A few leftovers:
"I'm awful happy we won. A lot of personal feelings in that (UNLV) dugout over there. (UNLV coach Buddy Gouldsmith is) my best friend in the world. It's obviously better than us losing, but I don't enjoy playing friends."
"We battled for 10 innings and we needed every single one of them to win."
"We've made a little run here and we've had some home games. Tuesday night will be a big game for us, but from a conference standpoint, we got to go on the road. BYU's always given us fits and right now San Diego State is the best team in the league."
