For those who didn't see, BYU upset first-place New Mexico 13-5 on Friday to even their series. More importantly, the Cougars' win, coupled with TCU's win over Utah, keeps TCU right on track.
By virtue of having played more conference games, the Horned Frogs (31-16, 14-5) are percentage points ahead of New Mexico (.736-.705) in the Mountain West Conference standings. The Lobos (28-20, 12-5), however, still have the head-to-head tiebreaker with TCU, and close their series today with BYU.
New Mexico plays at UNLV next weekend.
