Former TCU left-hander Eugene Espineli is the latest Horned Frog to reach the majors. The lanky reliever was called up Saturday night by the San Francisco Giants. Geno also won't be headed to Beijing on the OIympic team because of the move. His Team USA roster spot will be filled.
In his debut, Espineli threw one scoreless inning of relief with one strikeout in the Giants' 7-4 loss to the Brewers on Sunday.
