Wake Forest kicker Sam Swank just drilled a 40-yard field goal to end the Demon Deacons' opening drive. Wake leads, 3-0, with 12:19 left in the first quater. The Deacons needed to move only 16 yards for their points, after a 14-yard punt by Baylor's Derek Epperson.
The Bears have started their second possession and Kirby Freeman, who opened the game, remains at quarterback.
