Apparently OU cornerback dominique franks is out of the doghouse and the secondary shuffle is back to normal--for the time being at least.
this week franks reassumed his starting job at field corner and lendy holmes has moved back to safety. that means that redshirt freshman sam proctor is now a backup behind nic harris at strong safety, opposite holmes. redshirt freshman brian jackson is the other cornerback.
franks apparently had a summer miss-step of some kind and the staff made him work his way back into good graces--and the starting lineup. the inherent fallout, according to secondary coach bobby jack wright, is the development of a versatile 2-deep lineup.--mike jones.
