Texas just scored on its first drive of the third quarter, boosting its lead over Florida Atlantic to 35-10. Unlike last season, when the Longhorns zoned out in the second half after carving out a 21-3 lead against Arkansas State in the season opener, Texas seems to have plenty of fire and intensity in the second half tonight.
On FAU's first drive of the 3Q, the Longhorns stopped a QB sneak on fourth-and-inches for a loss of a half-yard. Texas is about to take over with a 25-point lead and a short field at its disposal.
