Sophomore Jerrod Johnson started the opening series for Texas A&M, marking the end of senior Stephen McGee's 29-game starting streak. McGee is recovering from a sprained throwing shoulder, an injury he suffered two weeks ago at New Mexico. All four quarterbacks -- McGee, Johnson, Ryan Tannehill and Tommy Dorman -- took snaps during pregame warmups. Interestingly, Johnson and Tannehill did not catch any passes in warmups, which means coaches might not risk playing the two there because of McGee's injury.
