Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin and Texas Tech safety Daniel Charbonnet were selected today for Big 12 player of the week recognition.
Griffin, a freshman, earned offensive honors by rushing for a school-record 217 yards and racking up 346 yards of total offense in a 45-17 victory over Washington State. Charbonnet, a senior, grabbed a school-record three interceptions in the Red Raiders' 43-7 victory over SMU to receive the weekly defensive honor.
Special teams recognition went to Missouri kicker Jeff Wolfer, who made all 11 of his kicks (nine PATs, two FGs) in the Tigers' 69-17 rout of Nevada.
