The college football "Alumni Watch" in Tuesday's Star-Telegram includes an update on former Cleburne High School standout Angus Quigley, the Kansas running back once buried on the depth chart but now a possible answer to the Jayhawks' rushing woes. And coach Mark Mangino says Quigley will be in the mix earlier this week in KU's televised Friday night game against South Florida.
Quigley has risen while celebrated transfer Jocques Crawford from Cisco Junior College has struggled. Crawford gave an oral commitment to TCU over the winter, although TCU adopted a wait-and-see attitude. Crawford did switch his commitment, and landed at Kansas.
