ESPN and the Western Athletic Conference have agreed on a contract extension through April, 2017.
Part of the agreement will include televising 300-plus WAC events, and conference championships, on the ESPN networks. The new agreement will also include televising women's sports.
ESPN will also televise a minimum of 16 football games featuring WAC teams on its networks.
