Finally, an Aggie first down!

The Aggies' first first down -- an 8-yard scramble on third down by Stephen McGee -- came at the 9:14 mark of the second quarter and was greeted by a Bronx cheer. But it may have finally jump-started the offense. A&M converted another third down on the next series on a 7-yard pass to Jamie McCoy, and McGee found McCoy again for a 25-yard gain on the next play. McCoy was injured on the play but appears to be OK. The Aggies are inside Army territory for the first time today at the 42-yard line.
