Texas A&M's Jorvorskie Lane, who played only a few snaps last week against Arkansas State, started at fullback today and it took only four snaps for him to get his first carry of the season against New Mexico. Lane picked up 5 yards on his first rush, then added another 5-yarder three plays later. The Aggies picked up two first downs on their first drive and moved into New Mexico territory but were forced to punt when Ryan Tannehill couldn't haul in a pass from Stephen McGee. The good news: Justin Brantly pinned the Lobos at their own 5 with a 44-yard punt.
