The Sooners had a 13-play, 80 yard drive, which was capped by Chris Brown's one yard run to give Oklahoma a 14-3 lead.

Unnecessary timeout stamps exclamation

Leading 56-20 before halftime, Rice just called one of those Mike Shanahan-esque timeouts just as UNT kicker Jeremy Knott let fly what should have been a 42-yard field goal. As UNT's kick team lined up, Rice tried to freeze Knott with the more traditional timeout, and then coach David Bailiff pulled the "gotcha."

Suffice to say, Knott's re-attempt was either blocked or kicked into the pile -- who knows? -- and it's probably a foregone conclusion UNT is either the worst or near rock bottom in special teams nationally.
