Mary Lou Slocum, the mother of former Texas A&M football coach R.C. Slocum died late Thursday at a Bryan nursing home at the age of 88. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at United Pentecostal Church in Orange. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the 12th Man Foundation.
