Ole Miss really hasn't had a gamebreaking quarterback since Eli Manning.
That wait may be over.
Jevan Snead, a Stephenville product who transferred from Texas, threw four touchdowns and completed 20-of-31 passes, with one interception, for 253 yards today. Snead's performance, though, was spoiled, as Wake Forest's Sam Swank made a 41-yard field goal with three seconds left for a 30-28 victory.
For those wondering: Snead's numbers were very comparable to Demon Deacons QB Riley Skinner, who's considered one of the top quarterbacks in the nation. Skinner was 32-43 for 267 yards and 2 TDs.
