Miami scored on its first possession of the third quarter, then turned back-to-back Jerrod Johnson turnovers into touchdowns for a commanding 41-10 lead over the Aggies. It's gotten so bad here, even the Prairie View A&M band left after its halftime performance, leaving a small contingent of Miami fans to celebrate in their section. Hounded by blitzing Hurricane defenders, Johnson was intercepted by Eric Moncur to set up a 15-yard scoring pass on the next play. Then he was stripped of the ball by Glenn Cook as he attempted to avoid a sack. Cook scooped up the loose ball at the 2-yard line and ran it in for the touchdown.
