UNT folks here in Denton just said that LSU expects to announce this afternoon that it will host UNT in Baton Rouge, La., as scheduled. Kickoff is still 7 p.m. Saturday. LSU had considered various venues to hold the game with Hurricane Ike entering the Gulf today. It appears the lower Texas coast is Ike's main target. We'll let you know if anything changes.

Update: LSU officials now want to hold off on anything official until Wednesday. They've made a few frazzled calls to UNT today after Todd Dodge said in his press conference that the game would be at LSU as scheduled. So, officially, nothing official yet. Unofficially, unless Ike takes a serious right turn, plan on Tiger Stadium for this game.
