UTEP grabbed a little momentum it can carry into halftime with a 76-yard touchdown drive, its first of the game. QB Trevor Vittatoe, a Euless Trinity graduate, hit Tufick Shadrawy on a 12-yard scoring strike with 17 seconds remaining in the half to send the teams into the locker room with Texas on top, 28-13.
