FIU is up 28-0 at halftime after a three-play, 35-yard drive that followed UNT quarterback Giovanni Vizza's second interception of the game. For whatever reason, Vizza and the offense don't have it working tonight. Except for two big plays by FIU receiver T.Y. Hilton, UNT's defense was actually keeping the Mean Green in this game. Kicker Jeremy Knott missed a 34-yard field goal to add more misery to special-teams woes.
There's a time to be stubborn and stick with your guy at QB. Better off now to bring him back next week.
