Texas and Colorado are just taking the field in Boulder, Colo. From all indications, Colorado coaches are planning a bigger role tonight for Darrell Scott, the freshman RB who chose Colorado over Texas on signing day in February. Scott will not start but might wind up handling the brunt of the Buffs' carries, based on what Colorado running backs coach Darian Hagan told Colorado-based reporters earlier this week.
Hagan said Scott, who ranks second on the team in rushing yards, is fully recovered from a hyperextended knee suffered in the Buffs' second game and appears poised for a "breakout game." Scott has yet to start a game for the Buffs this season and sophomore Demetrius Sumler already has been announced as tonight's starter.
