Running back Ryan Hale scored his first collegiate TD to widen Texas Tech's lead over Kansas State to 31-14.
On third-and-goal, Hale rolled out of the backfield and caught a 4-yard touchdown from Grahah Harrell. It was Harrell's fourth TD pass of the day.
Last year Hale was a linebacker for the Red Raiders.
