Oklahoma State's offense finally arrived, scoring two third-quarter touchdowns to push the Cowboys' lead to 42-14 with 2:19 left in the quarter. First, Dez Bryant scored his third touchdown of the game on a 23-yard pass from Zac Robinson. Then, after Texas A&M scored on a 6-yard pass from Jerrod Johnson to Ryan Tannehill, the Cowboys answered with Robinson's 6-yard scoring run.
