Contrary to what's been floating around, departed North Texas receiver Sam Dibrell was not suspended, he and coach Todd Dodge both said late Wednesday. More details will appear in Thursday's paper. Dibrell is the seventh wide receiver to be lost this season, either permanently or to an injury that has kept that player off the field for an extended period. Dibrell, a favorite target of UNT quarterback and high school teammate Giovanni Vizza, will be replaced by Breece Johnson or Roderick Johnson (no relation) or both in a platoon situation.
