After forging a 7-7 tie, LSU scored 24 seconds later when Alabama fumbled the kickoff, putting LSU on the Tide 30. Charles Scott scored two plays later and the Tigers had a 14-7 lead.
Penn State had a long scoring drive to take a 10-7 lead at Iowa, and a few minutes ago had an 18-3 edge in first downs. Upset possibilities there, not so good.
