Well, at least Texas A&M didn't start as poorly against Oklahoma as Nebraska and Kansas State. The Sooners, who scored 35 first-quarter points against Nebraska and 28 against KSU, lead the Aggies 21-0 heading into the second quarter, scoring their third touchdown on a 22-yard run by Chris Brown. The Sooners had 238 yards in the first quarter to 13 for the Aggies. Oklahoma averaged 10.3 yards per play, while A&M averaged 0.9 yards.
