Frogs baseball signs eight

The TCU Horned Frogs baseball team signed eight players on Wednesday, including star pitching prospect Matt Purke from Klein High School.

The class includes five high school players and three from junior college. Four of the signees are from the Houston area.

Along with Purke, the Frogs signed Katy UT Jarred Fancher, Fort Bend Kempner OF Kyle Von Tungeln, Houston Lamar RHP Tyler Duffie, Round Rock C Josh Elander and Weatherford JC Joe Weik and Western Nevada JC products RHP Kyle Starratt and OF Jerome Pena.
