The TCU women's basketball team has a 35-28 lead over No.3 Maryland at halftime.
The Lady Frogs stormed out to an 11-0 lead to open the game, and was 5-of-8 from the field in the first four minutes. The Lady Terrapins eventually came back, and got within five points. TCU answered with back-to-back three pointers from Helena Sverrisdottir and Eboni Mangum to go ahead 28-17.
Sverrisdottir finished with 15 points in the first half.
