LUBBOCK _ Texas Tech kept alive its chances of winning the Big 12 South title with a hard-fought 35-28 win over Baylor on Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.

If Oklahoma loses tonight at Oklahoma State, Texas Tech would claim the Big 12 South title and play Missouri next Saturday in Kansas City for the conference championship.

Tech scored the final 21 points of the game after falling behind Baylor 28-14 less than four minutes into the second half. With the gutsy win, Tech tied the school record for wins in a season as it ended the regular season with an 11-1 overall record and 7-1 Big 12 play..

The pesky Bears ended the season 4-8 overall and 2-6 in conference play.
