Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin's running should look pretty familiar to most of the fans in Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium. They saw it three years ago with Vince Young.
Griffin has shown glimpses of why the Bears are an up-and-coming team in the Big 12 South with just his feet, running for 114 yards on 11 carries. Griffin moved the ball all the way to Texas' 12 yard line on a 63-yard run. He then ran straight into the left side of the end zone on the next play before the touchdown was called back because of an illegal block. A false start moved it back even further before the Bears were stopped on fourth down.
Still, expect the Bears to be bowl-eligible in a year or two with Griffin at the helm.
