In what should probably be dubbed as the sixth BCS bowl, undefeated No. 9 Boise State and No. 11 TCU (10-2) will play Dec. 23 in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.
The combined No. 20 ranking of TCU and Boise State is the fifth-best among the bowls, higher than Cincinnati and Virginia Tech, which will play in the Orange Bowl.
This is TCU's 10th bowl game in the last 11 years, and the Frogs have won three bowl games in a row. The Horned Frogs' last loss in a bowl game was to Boise State in the 2003 Fort Worth Bowl (34-31).

Hey all you Horned Frogs! I have checked out your game stats with Oklahoma! BSU & TCU will be a great game. I've got to say I think you are probably the 2nd best team in Texas and certainly better than a two loss Ohio State. We are looking forward to the battle! You know ESPN will hype it bigtime!

Hey Holiday Bowl, you have the second best bowl game in San Diego this year :)
The San Diego County Credit Union Poinsetta Bowl. Its not the Sugar Bowl or Fiesta, nor does it pay $18MM, but it sure beats playing a mediocre Pac-10 team (AZ) in the Pioneer Bowl.
Defense rules! TCU 31 Boise 17
